Obviously, I love this verse enough to make it the foundation of my web page!
In very dark places in my life, it embodies the depth of my need for the Holy Spirit, and the knowledge that He will intercede for me in my weakness. My groans, many times, have no words of prayer, but the Spirit hears the need of my heart.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Mathew 5:4 ESV
I like this verse because:
The Holy Spirit is our great comforter. When we mourn we are inviting the Holy Spirit into our groans. This is where He intercedes and the blessings begin!
“For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
I love the way this verse shows God’s great love and care for us. Whenever we think we are not enough, He reminds us that, by grace, He created us for the purpose of good works. Good works come from what God does within us, through Jesus Christ!

I love this verse because it reminds me that I will overcome any trial that comes along in my life, because Jesus is my Lord.
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”
Isaiah 40:29 NIV
I love this verse because:
It reminds me that when I am weary I can find strength and power in Him beyond my own feebleness.
